Parish Council meetings are usually held on the second Tuesday in the month at Merryfield Hall, Copse Lane, Ilton, starting at 6.30 p.m. prompt. There is usually no meeting in August. Members of the public are invited to attend all Parish Council meetings.
The first item on the agenda, after apologies, is public voice when the public present are invited to ask questions or make comments. If there are a lot of people wishing to speak the Chairman will limit speakers to a set time. Members of the public are asked not to speak during the rest of the meeting unless asked to do so by the Chairman. This part of the meeting is expected to last no more than 30 minutes.
At least 3 councillors must be present at a meeting for the meeting to be quorate. If a meeting is not quorate it will not continue and will be re-scheduled for a later date.
