Situated on the outskirts of the village and accessed via Rod Lane or on the Ashford to Ilford road this is “common land.” It is being developed into a nature reserve, has a footpath running through it and a couple of benches should you want to take a picnic down there or just sit and enjoy the countryside all around you.  The area is left as natural as possible with trees and wild flowers. There are picnic benches.
